I just bought nearly 5,000 yards of rayon chenille yarn for a steal! While thats all well and good, I have no patterns for this type of yarn. does anyone have some good patterns that I could try? I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

There's a pattern for a chenille jacket in this month's Knitters (Fall 2004 p. 116). I'm making this now.

Or, you could always make a huge comfy chenille throw/quilt/bedspread.

Swatch it first! And wash it, if you plan to do that to your finished object. Find out if it worms at your chosen gauge, before you put a lot of work into it.... I have a chenille sweater that is truly hideous, now that it has been worn and washed. And I knit pretty tightly.
