I just wanted to add this shop in Chatham. Chatham would be considered in the northern section of the Hudson Valley.
Lorraine owns the shop and she is so friendly and helpful. She has an amazing collection of Debbie Bliss, Noro, Sidar, Filatura di Crosa,Cascasde 220,Manos, novelty yarns and others that I can't remember. She has books, magazines, needles, everything a knitter could ask for. I love going to her shop, even though I live about 40 mins. away. It's well worth the trip, IMHO.

I love Countrywool too. Claudia has a lovely selection of wool yarns and if spinning is your thing, she's the person to see.
