This is the last weather forecast I'll be posting! Be aware that, while the Weather Channel says partly cloudy on Saturday, the best weathercaster in town says that there could be a passing shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon!

See you all there!

Currently, the forcast is:

Saturday - Partly cloudy- 66

Sunday - Partly Cloudy - 74

Check this space for daily updates!

Every time I check it on weather.com it changes. Butt he good news is it keeps getting better! One day it said "few showers" and upper 60s. Now it's up to low 70s. And the predictin for rain on Friday has disappeared as well, so hopefully the ground will be dry.

Ok weather experts--I need advice--

what to wear--jeans or shorts? sandles or sneakers?

I've heard that either you freeze or you roast with no in between.

Thanks!

Depends on your comfort level. Keep checking back here, and wear what you'd wear for that temp. It looks like 70s so far, so that's shorts and sandles weather for me, but it may not be for you. You might want to carry a lightweight sweater in the morning, 'cause it's been very cool in the mornings so far this spring.

Regarding sandals, do realize that it can be either very muddy or dusty at the fairgrounds. So, honestly, even if it's very warm, I'd still suggest regular shoes. Well, unless you like dusty, squishy toes!

As one who's lived in this area most of my life: layers! It will, no doubt, vary between 50 and 80 degrees with hot sun and rain. I would wear sneakers or at least shoes that you can do some serious walking in with a decent sole. It's dusty/muddy and there's random straw and stones and gravel which you will no doubt trip over and stub a toe as you run, agog and drooling, to go look at the pretty wool! LOL

How do.
Thanks, Lissa, for keeping us in the loop (hmmm, is that the front or back loop?) w/the S & W F forecast.
See you soon.

The forecast for the NY metro area on Saturday is rain. Perhaps, it will pass through Maryland by then? Phooey--it always rains whenever I have plans for the great outdoors and driving.

Yup, Christina beat me to it - LAYERS. Jeans will do below, I second (third?) the solid shoe over a sandal, and for the top a tee shirt and sweatshirt with a light jacket should be fine.

I fourth the solid shoe vote, and I'll tell you why. There are a lot of baby strollers at the festival. And a lot of DISTRACTED people. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. But here's a hint: It involves BandAids and repeated exclamations of "ouch!"

I'm bringing my worn out walking shoes, comfy thick socks, jeans, t-shirts and a denim jacket. Oh, I'll probably wear my ever-so-chic UCF Alumni baseball cap if it's sunny - it's black with gold, come up and say howdy. Fashionable for a lovely restaurant I will not be, but there are enough chain places around there that will accept my less than stylish self.
