I have some lovely Noro Blossom in my stash http://www.theknittinggarden.com/no-blossom.htm that I picked up when we were in Seattle early this year.
The sweater that is in my mind (but can't find a pattern) is a simple stst, long sleeved, funnel or roll neck pullover. I know I can hear our Fran thinking "she should be able to work that design out herself" - and it's probably true . But I sure would love to have a pattern to guide me.
If anyone knows of such a pattern, please let me know.
Thanks so much. RoseM |

How about the Big Sack Sweater in the 1st SnB book? It's knit at 14 st=4", roll-neck, raglan sleeve, loose fit, all st st except for a rib-and-cable panel in the center front--and that's very simple, really. Or you could just omit the rib-and-cable detail.
You could also use the Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns! The Yarn Girls book may also have some good patterns--there's a whole section on funnel necks/turtlenecks, and all of the patterns are for chunky or heavier weight yarn.
Cheers, Helen |
