I was wondering if it was possible to use the pieces that come loose while felting in the washing machine for needle felting. Has anyone done this, are all those gobs of fiber good for anything or do you have to buy wool roving to needle felt with? Is there any way to use short scraps of leftover wool yarn for needle felting, if you like pull it apart first? thanks

while you can try it, (I know that poly-fill felts!only with needle felting however)
however I would imagine that the fibers are too short to stay together by themselves.
