I issed the second sock-apalooza. I was wondering whethe tehre is a scarf exchange as the next sock exchange is not likely to start for again for a while yet. I like the idea of doing a knitted item exchange because it seems to me to be more fun than just exchanging yarns

I haven't heard of a different one but it sounds like a great idea.

Celia,
hosting does take a bit of work.
Taking names and preferences.
setting a cut off date or number.
Set rules
dole out partners
set an end date.

I'm sure I missed a step or 2 but you get the idea of what it takes to host this.

Since I gave out 12 scarves for X-mas last year, I've definately had the practice!

Count me in!
