I bought 675 yard/0.5 pound of alpaca from mystical creation yarns to make the ever-popular clapotis from knitty. It's not really working out well - much lighter and not the right drape. I'm thinking of scrapping it and doing calpotis in some other yarn (when I can afford something with silk). But now I have all this lovely handpainted alpaca I don't know what to do with. Any ideas? It's sport weight, 5 to 6 stiches per inch.
