I got home today and had a little surprise waiting in the mailbox for me...my order of Panache yarn from Knit Picks Ohh happy day.
If it didn't have a label on it I would swear it is Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky! It is very soft and has a subtle sheen to it. I plan to use it to make the saxon Braid scarf from Knitting on the edge for my MIL for christmas.
I had promised myself I would only have one project on the needles at a time but I think I have to break that promise. I am off to do a pattern repeat of the scarf to see how it is going to look
Oh, and shipping time was good too. I know there was another thread about slow shipping from KP but mine was shipped out on 8/9 and got here today 8/15. Not bad for free shipping and a weekend in the middle.

How fun! I ordered a load of color cards the day they were first offered, so am looking forward to seeing these yarns in person!!

I got my KP color cards yesterday and couldn't stop browsing through them, planning projects. I bought all of the cards offered, since the price was very reasonable. I like that the variegated yarn samples are given as little knitted swatches rather than just strands.

I don't think I've ever seen color cards with swatches rather than strands! I guess I'll have to order them.
Please post your opinions on the Panache.

Were all the available colors included on the color cards? I called to make sure and they couldn't tell me. :(

I've swatched with KP Panache and I have to tell you, it's *divine.* I'm planning up aaaaaalll kinds of delicious projects with it! It's very-very soft, but has some bulk to it, so there's great stitch definition and really nice body to the fabric.
