I have two skeins of this, each is 146 yds (I think). I bought it to make the Opera scarf, but after several months of not bothering with it I decided the yarn needs a new project. I considered the drawstring bag from LAst Minute Knitted Gifts, but don't want to make it. Any other ideas?

How about the Branching Out lace scarf from Knitty.com? I can't recall the exact issue, but if you search the archives, it was within the last year. I'm sure two of those would be plenty.

Hi all,
I am always looking for projects that use less than 8 ounces of yarn as I spin and do not often make more than that.
Does your project have to be a scarf? I altered an Interweave pattern- Buffalo Girl- to a more interesting one (IMHO) that uses only 3 ounces of yarn. Alpaca would be great for this -- fingerless gloves and neckwarmer. You can download it for free from my website.
