Okay...I am relatively new to forums (fora?) and would like a primer on the acronyms you folk are using:

WNYIP, DH (I've learned this is "D.Husband", not "Designated Hitter", but what's the "D" for?), etc.

If anyone can start a glossary for me, I'd much appreciate it!

Dear or Damn Husband (or DW for wife or DP for partner for some of us).

WIP is work in progress.

WNYIP is work not yet in progress.

Mindy to Heidi: Did I tell you she knits in class? She knits away and two weeks later she comes in wearing a new sweater!

Thanks! In my house it would be "Dear" husband, or 'BH' for "Better Half".

I'm familiar with WIP (from the office), but WNYIP is new! Up here we also refer to WIP as "UFOs" (UnFinished Objects) or (I learned this one yesterday) part of The 25-Year Plan!
