Can you dye something that is 85% acrylic, 15% wool with Kool-Aid?
Sure hope so - I picked some up by accident. (Was so overwhelmed at the yarn store I didn't look at the label...)

I'm not sure. When I was little I used to dye yarn with kool-aid all the time. It came out great. I think I still have some. Have you dyed yarn before?????? If not you will have a lot of fun.

Hi Lisa - I don't know the answer, but if you scroll on down to the "Dying Discussion" section of the forums, there's a ton of posts about Kool-Aid dying and that's where you'll find the experts.

a friend dyed London yarn - an acrylic and wool blend that is the Michael's store brand of yarn. She said it came out very nicely, though paler than koolaid on wool

I'd say, give it a go
