I bought these when I was on my sock kick, but that's so over now, as they say. Are 2 skeins of Koigu enough for a scarf? I'm a bit stuck because I know that a delicate lace pattern will be obscured by the KPPPM colors, so I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas?

One makes a neck-sized garter stitch triangle, and it's a very nice way to show off the yarn. Two will make, well, a bigger triangle!

It depends on the colorway, a lot of their colorways wont cnflict with lace so you may want to re-think that, or you could make gloves.

Thanks - I had never thought of gloves - that might be quite nice.

Foxy Knits has great patterns for Koigu there website is www.foxyknits.com I think. I've made a couple of their patterns already.
Edit: I reminded myself how great this store was so now I have two more of their patterns coming my way.

I have made several Koigu purses in the round and you could easily make a hat using one or two skeins. I made a drawstring purse that I just love using one skein. Makes a delightful and pretty gift and it was a pleasure to knit in the round. Cast on about 100 stitches and keep knitting until you have enough to decrease and bind off. I made openings for the drawstring about an 1 1/2" down from the top.

One skein will make a pretty baby hat...
If I smoked as much as I knit, I'd have lung cancer...luckily, I don't smoke;) |

Two skeins doubled will make a nice hat - I've made the garter stitch one from the Yarn Girls Guide to Simple Knits: http://www.theyarnco.com/knit_display/161#
