Hi Marlene, your yarn and knitted items are gorgeous! Your stuff is inspiring to me. I started spinning last year. I have a lot of spun yarn, which is perfectly usable, it's just not knitted up yet. It seems I've replaced one obsession with another. I spin more than I knit these days. I just moved to Florida so wool is definitely not required any longer. I have to learn how to spin cotton. I did just make a lovely cardigan for my 6 year old daughter from beautiful hand-dyed merino roving I bought from "The Wool Peddler" on Ebay. It's blues and greens and looks great with Jenny's blue eyes and skin tone. It's the only thing I've knit with my hand-spun yarn that I'm proud of. I do not have a blog or pictures, unfortunately. Thanks for starting this topic and posting pictures of your beautiful spinning and knitting.

I was like that at first Wendy, but knitting has once again bubbled to the top of my obsessions list. Now I usually spin once a week, although it is often for several hours (nothing in moderation dontcha know?) and knit for many, many, more than that.

Yeah, I tend to swithc back and forth between mostly spinning and mostly crocheting. I'll do nothing but spin for a week, and then I'll sit down and make a dozen or so hats, stuff like that. I still wind up with far more things than I can possibly use, so my friends find themselves frequently buried in woolen gifts. (^_^)
Anyway, the shawl is gorgeous!
