They're the best. Lantern Moon and Susanne's ebony needles are nice, but Holz and Stein are my favorite. They have a heft and a feel the others don't have. I only have one set and so now it is my quest to find more. Must. Have. Them.

We're looking for a source (me and my german-born husband)- will keep you posted. His Mom and Dad are still in Frankfurt, and woo-hoo, his Mom is a knitter !.... sleuthing away -

Just a quick update-
the U.S. distributor quit carrying these, since they were hard to get, but we are tracking down the creator in Germany :)
They are in short supply because they are made from the leftover pieces from clarinets.
We're hot on the trail though, and not giving up!
