LOL! I am guilty... Everytime I go to any yarn/craft store, I can still hear in the back of my mind that tv commercial for toilet paper. "Don't squeeze the Charmin." Well, Mr. Whipple can stay in the toiletries section of the store, and I'll just continue to squeeze yarn all I want. I love the softness, fuzziness, fluffiness... oh my gosh, do I have a problem? Is there a "YSA... Yarn Squeezers Anonymous"? I need help! LOL!
Happy knitting!

no...you don't have a problem...well at least if you do have a problem...you share it with the rest of us!!! I can't even IMAGINE buying a yarn without petting, squeezing, rubbing and even talking to it a bit...you know ...."what could I make with you??....Yes...yes...a scarf...you feel so soft and warm"
It's not a problem...it's an addiction...I belive the mantra goes something like this "hello my name is ____________ and I'm a yarnaholic, I can't control my impulses to purchase yarn that I do not need for projects I have NO time to even consider knitting until the year 2020"...
Even knowing my addiction...I still fondle the yarn and dream of how it would look in my stash pile....I don't even REALIZE I've written the check for the yarn until I balance my checkbook...really the purchase is all a blank in my mind...I just see how pretty the yarn looks in my stash.
The next week as I leave the house I chant to myself "I will NOT purchase yarn today"....and when I return home I wonder how the hell I got a bag with yarn in it from the HARDWARE store! Did I black out while driving past my favorite LYS???
Happens EVERY time....
~Wendy....yarnaholic!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: "WOW...WHAT A RIDE!!!"
