If you were looking for this, where would you look other than ebay? I bought a loom there and it was 100% rusted and you couldn't tell from the picture, so I don't want rusty needles, so thought I'd try to find a used carder with finer needles somewhere else. Is there an exchange for spinners somewhere? etc?

| You may be able to find what you are looking for at http://knitting.about.com The kind people there run a list of items from spinners etc. for sale. |

Is there a spinning guild in your area that has a local (or state-wide)newsletter which has a classified section? You could place a wanted ad in it or check out the for sale column.

E-bay had a few as of a couple days ago - I wasn't looking for that, so I didn't look carefully to check quality or anything, but it's a place to look...

Jim, I couldn't find anything like that on that site, it lead me to a Domain list but didn't have anything about spinning or carding...what did I miss...I searched the site and its index... Thanks for trying everyone! Kathy, I belong to the spinning guild but haven't seen anything advertised but a huuuuge commercial machine...thousands of dollars. I'm still lookin!

I was going to suggest the housecleaning pages but Mike beat me to it. They seem to be the best place to look on the net.
Also try searching your local craigslist.org pages, or newspaper (could get lucky) and the Spin list on Yahoo has a "spin-sales" group.
If you want a Louet, you might check to see if my prices (new equipment though, not used, on the lanasdelibelula.com site in my sig) are low enough.
