I am about 50 pages into Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. It's found in the Fantasy/Sci-fi section, but it is much more of a historical fiction piece. It takes place in the 17th and 18th centuries and you get to meet Sir Isaac Newton and Benjamin Franklin. It deals with the Natural Philosophers and the new thinking that brought about calculus. Sounds dry I know, but it is really interesting so far.
