Is anyone aware of the directory that lists all the various yarns and their yardage, weight, etc so you can offer a subtitute yarn to your customer if you do not carry the particular yarn they are looking for? I heard about this from our new teacher who used to work in a yarn shop out west. I am also trying to contact Carol Anderson of Cottage Creation so I can order her patterns. Is anyone aware of her contact information? thanks for your help, as always

I believe the book is called "Important Yarn Information" or something similar. You can get it through Bryson Distributing. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Remember to keep the back issues for people who come with a pattern calling for discontinued yarn.

Th actual name of the book is Valuable Knitting Information. I also bought mine through Bryson Distributing. I believe that it was $20.00
