I recall seeing a second version of the Sally Melville scarf from The Knit Stitch and Knitter's Vol. 69. Its the scarf with the long ties and a triangular shape in the middle. The second version had a softer curved shape in the middle. It was in one of the many knitting magazines that I receive. I've been through most of them and I can't seem to find it. Does anyone remember the scarf and where it appeared ? I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance and a blessed Christmas to all!
I'm not sure, but maybe Scarf Style? If not that then my guess would be to do a search on the Interweave Knits websight........I do sort of remember that, but can't quite put my finger on it. Good luck! Connie
It is in Scarf Style, don't have the book in front of me with the page no. She uses a combination of ribbon or novelty yarn. The ends are shorter but the scarf is quite pretty.
Yes, there is a second Sally Melville "Shape It" scarf in Scarf style called "Wear-As-A-Collar Scarf." Has anyone here made one? If so, i'd love to see a picture. The photo in the book doesn't make it very clear what the shape of the scarf is -- or what the finished item looks like ;-(
