Who do you think have the wildest women's patterns?

Bouton d'Or?
Filatura di Crosa?
Gedifra?
GGH Rebecca?
Artful Yarns?

What is the wildest pattern you ever saw?

The wildest patterns I've seen are individual patterns by "Not Just Plain Jane Knits". 45-60 pages of individual instructions, 7 colors and lots of detail, guaranteed to drive you crazy, I know, I'm knitting one.

When Berger du Nord used to be in business, they had some really wild patterns mixed in with their traditional stuff. One sweater had strips of fur knitted in with the design, wacky colours, etc. Of course, since this was the 80's everything came with big shoulder pads & big hair...LOL

Have you checked out the new Vogue Knitting? They don't give a pattern but in the pictures of high fashion knit items on runway models, there is a knitted g-string which the model wears under a very short bandana-type poncho. Ok I guess for the person who has everything and certainly quick to knit, but still.....

There's some pretty bizarre stuff in _Knitting in America_. Weirdest of all is an asymmetrical entrelac *thing* done in a profusion of shocking colors. There may be other techniques besides entrelac in it. And I can't say for certain if it's a vest, a poncho, a pullover... it just *is*. Definitely the most outlandish piece of women's knitwear I've ever seen. Anyone know the garment in question?

Thank you! They are awful....who would wear them anyway? And how do you make sure that everything covered.
