But then, aren't they all?

Anyway, last night I dreamt that I was at an ice cream store ordering frozen yogurt. It was served not in a cup, not in a cone, but...

dipped in yarn.

Yes, I was handed a skein of yarn with one end dipped in frozen yogurt.

Interpretations?

You were hungry? As long as it's a dream I would've ordered Häagen-Dazs. ;)

I had a dream last week that I dyed my cat blue by washing him with a skein of Lamb's Pride.

I can't decide which is worse, ruining the yarn or ruining the ice cream!

Maybe you had been looking at patterns for ice-cream cozies the night before?

Maybe it's just a comfort thing. Ice cream is a comfort food (for a lot of people) and knitting is comfort. Security and happiness.

maybe you see your decadence of playing in yarn similiar to decadence of enjoying a big cone of something delicious. Do you feel guilt free about a big yogurt cone? Interesting it was yogurt and not creamy ice cream..thats a story in itself :))
Now if it was your DH scooping it, then that would be another story!
