Is there a forum to cover this topic? IMHO it should be two topics, as the problems are different. I have two nieces age 11 nad 12 who have just completed their first scarves with my help (needles and yarn for Chirstmas presents) and an 8 year old daughter who is struggling. All wnat to knit, and I am trying to hard to direct them in a way that will bring the greates success. I have always brought my knitting to book group and lately there is more interest in that than the book discussion, so that might start too. I've picked a several helpful hints on these boards from those who teach, but I am sure there are so many more. Am I missing something, or could it be added? TIA.........Annhope

I'm offering beginning knitting thru my library. First time I checked, there were 3 signed up.

Next time I looked the list was more than 20! Luckily I could split the class.

Yes, I would love suggestions of what/how to teach.
