Cherry Tree Hill is putting their Sugarwood trees to work; now along with their exquisite line of yarns they’ll offer Maple Syrup! They’ve rebuilt the old sugarhouse that was first erected on their property in 1779 and bought a pair of Belgian draft horses to pull the sled that gathers the sap for this sugarhouse. To commemorate this event they created a new colorway, Sugar Maple, available in all their yarns.
Sugar Maple is a snapshot of the fall days New England is known for. In autumn Sugarwood trees are characterized by exceptionally bright leaves and Sugar Maple is evocative of this mountain maple touched by the first frost in early fall, bright pinks and yellows with gold and scarlet.
Cheryl Potter and the Cherry Tree Hill Staff are looking for patterns to showcase this new colorway. They will be accepting submissions for their Sugar Maple Design Contest beginning April 1st. The winner will receive $500 and the garment will be displayed at the June TNNA show.
The Sugar Maple colorway is available in all of CTH's yarns and ready to be shipped. I don't have this color in stock but can get it to you in about a week. A flyer will accompany all Sugar Maple orders giving more details about the contest.
