I just got my yarn today and I'm so excited to get started! I substituted Katia denim in Calico. I wasn't going to spend almost $80 to buy the Colinette Giotto! I know I won't get quite the same effect, but I think the colors in the calico are so summery and the yarn is so soft. I have never used a ribbon yarn before - I exected it to be stiffer, for some reason.

If anyone has already finished this, I'd love to see pics! It looks like a fast knit so hopefully I can finish it for the summer.

I want to knit this one too but I'm on a yarn diet and nothing in my stash will work. It looks so lovely, though.
