My sister had been diagnosed with lymphoma. Unfortunately her beautiful head of hair is starting to fall out. I told her I would knit her some bright fun caps. I am using the Cascade cotton/elastic yarn and it is turning out very soft. I figure the elastic will allow for some stretching for a proper fit. It gives something I can do for her when there is really nothing else I can do but pray.

So sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis. I'm sure she appreciates the caps you are knitting. I know knit picks has a particularly beautiful chemo cap on their website (free download).
