Try knitting darker, less vibrant colors before bed, with simple patterns.
Otherwise, I hear lack of sleep builds character!

home depot with a knit shop??? just think you could pick out you blinds and floor covering on the way to the knitting room,and let's not forget a food mart also that way we could make it a one stop shopping trip. yeehaa, my kind of life. lol.

Darker colors don't help! When I was working on that navy blue cotton sweater, I got just as energized as I did working on the light colored caps! I think it's the thrill of seeing a long straight piece of yarn become a piece of fabric or a cap. (I remember getting the same thrill from sewing...but knitting is MUCH more portable.) Heck, I even got energized by that washcloth!!! It's the thrill of creation, I'm sure!
