I am looking for a repair person in or around Riverside, California to clean and possibly to do simple repairs to my just acquired used Brother KH-840 Knitting Machine. Generally it's in really good shape. I am a new novice at machine knitting, so I need the information to get the machine cleaned, fix, and for someone to help me to get started knitting on it.

Check out this forum: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KnitIntl/?yguid=211868154 They seem to have access to a lot of machine knitting parts, repair, etc. I know the moderator is on the West Coast, so she may have some ideas as well. Good Luck.

You might try Newton's Knits in Anaheim. I don't have their address or phone number, but I think you could find them online or phone book.
