Tried to find a photo -- do you have a link (one in your post didn't work for me)?

Love the front hemline! And I would like to do a hooded, buttonless cardy. I'll go see if I can track down the book at Chapters and have a look at the pattern. What gauge yarn is it calling for?
RoseM p.s. FYI - there's errata for this cardy: http://www.knitcafe.com/bookcorrections.html

Ok ladies - I can't get too excited until I know the suggested gauge of that sweater. If there's something workable in my stash - then I'm in.
Could someone who has the book/pattern check on the gauge pls? Looks dk fuzzy (I'm outta luck) or maybe worsted (then I'm ok).
Thanks. RoseM |

I'm so happy to see some interest in this KAL. I am working on setting up the blog and will post a link as soon as it is done. Let's plan on starting August 1 so everyone has time to work on their summer knits. Sherry, thanks for posting the gauge information. In looking for some substitute yarns, I came across Blue Sky Melange and Elsebeth Lavold Angora, the later of which is on sale at WEBS. Stay tuned!!

Hi Deena, I can't see the picture, would it be possible to post it on your web page?

Deena - I love your blog! I think the slouchy cardigan is perfect and am going to try to find that book today. If I can, then I am in! I am lucky enough to have some time right now and my favorite article of clothing is cardigans (the slouchier the better, lately). Margarita |

OK - I even made the trek to the Knit Cafe (or should I say "pilgrimage") especially to buy that book and soak in the good knitting karma. I fell in love with the polo sweater and got everything to make that. Now I have decided that I'd better wait until my skills catch up to my desires. I am definitely in for the slouchy cardigan. I am going to get the yarn today! I can hardly wait. Margarita |

Cute cardigan! I won't join right now because I have too many things started as it is. But I'd like to see pictures of all of yours when you are done!

It would also be fun to start a Greetings from Knit Cafe knitalong. There are lots of items in the book that I plan on making. If anyone is interested in that, let me know. I am currently working on the skirt from the front cover.
