My first sweater done without a pattern is finished although I used lots of help from the web. It was knit from the top down using Fran's technique discussed here . I copied Carrioke's stripes here. It was knit with Cotton-Ease and 6 needles.
I like the top down technique a lot because it ensures a great fit. Thanks, Fran.
