We went to the movies this afternoon. When we got home, there were a couple grocery bags of yarn. Red Heart no dye lot acrylic, but still, it was a very thoughtful thing. No note. There are a couple neighbors who might have left it. I will investigate tomorrow. I also checked my mail and found a b-day card from my grandparents with $25 in it. It was certainly a nice way to come home. I think I will make something for charity with the yarn, since a lot of places prefer the ease of caring for acrylic. I'll probably work on sample swatches when I need small projects to walk with and then turn them into blankets.
Take care! Brandy

Hi Brandy,
A very big Happy Birthday to you and aren't you a lucky lady to have such a nice surprise waiting for you.
I'm sure the recipients of your charity knitting will be very happy or maybe you could find out who left the wool and make them something with it.
Knit in peace and harmony.

Well, I asked the neighbor I suspected and her husband left it. I am babysitting their granddaughter after school until mid-july and I have started teaching her to knit. Perhaps she can make use of some of the yarn. There are some good pinks in there. She is a very pink girl (of course, she is 6, and I think most 6 year old girls I've known like pink). Anyway, my b-day is a week from Wednesday, so it was nice to already get something for it. My grandparents are good about that.
Take care! Brandy
