Hi All, This morning I was "supposed" to be working on ribbing for a project, but instead I took some photos of my most recently completed personal knitting. You can see them in my "What's New" album at picture trail (link below signature).I added some tops and a sweater -all for myself since my DD's won't wear handknits.Yarns used were Knit Picks Shine Sport,Art Yarns Regal Silk, and Blue Sky Cotton. I also put a photo of a lace sock using Dave Daniels unique hand painted yarn. His merino has got to be my current favorite for socks.I have some more of his yarn just waiting for me to knit (gotta do that ribbing so I can MOVE on). Anyway, thought I would share the photos. Lisa in Oklahoma

Great sock! Great design! What colorway did you use? I love the big chunks of color. Most lace socks I've seen with hand painted yarn don't look good because the "holes" interrupt the lace pattern. But the intentional "pooling" of this colorway looks good.
And I'm a sailor & the pattern & color remind me of the water.

Beautiful knitting Lisa! I love the cardigan, is that the same lace pattern as in your new sock design?
Sorry your girls won't wear your handknits, but since your DDs don't like your knitting, you can always knit for me! (kidding!)

Thanks! The color of Dave's yarn was called Summer Garden. The lace cardigan is quite a different stitch pattern than the one on my socks. The sweater's pattern has cables and lace stitches. I think the only thing they have in common is yarn over's. Lisa

I was remembering the sock pattern from memory, after I made the post I went to your website and looked at the socks. Quite different! (Then I realized if I looked at the sidebar on your album the socks were......there ) Both very lovely though! Thanks for posting the pictures.
pieheart, who needs to be a little more observant!

Very nice! I really like the Rococo socks...I'll have to get the pattern (I really need to learn how to knit faster so I can do all the things I want to do!). I've been looking at Dave's yarn for a while now - its really beautiful.
