I've been a lurker here, too, but haven't contributed much until recently. I forgot my user name - well, I new what it was, just didn't remember how I entered it.[**] Anyway, got it straight, so hope to be on here more. I knitted some years ago on my own, but since I've retired, I decided on more formal lessons, so our local yarn shop is my hangout now. Luckily, it's a great one. (see review - Colonial Yarn Shop, Shiremanstown, PA.) I admit it's become an addiction and I'm now fighting two of them - knitting and sewing. I never know what to do first. At present it's knitting as I'm taking a class so I must get my project done. I always have a few projects going at the same time so I manage to get both done. I've also become a sockaholic!! It's all my knitting friend's fault! |

Now, now.....your friend did her job. Addicted knitters are suppose to spread the illness.

What would our knitting lives be like without an enabler to encourage our addictions? I have 2: one who 'encourages' me to knit lace and another who 'encourages' me to buy sock yarn and knit socks.

She certainly has done her job and with no end in sight!! She's "forcing" me to go to a yarn show in July. |

Isn't it great to be "forced" to go.
Laura Wait 1 more minute while I finish this row. |

I think so, but this is becoming hazardous to my wealth! Between yarn and fabric - WOW! |
