Q re. Scarf Style KAL

I wanted to join the Scarf Style KAL, since I'll be making at least 2 projects from that book. I e-mailed my humble request to join over a week ago, but no one got back to me. It says on the website that the KAL is still ongoing and they are taking new people. So... my question is this: do you need to fulfill any special criteria in order to join? Are they selective in any way re. who joins?

No, I joined it several months ago. I think it took a couple of days to get the invite. Maybe the hosts are just busy or on holiday right now.
