Do you ever have that "what have I gotten myself into" feeling?? I just started the Ripple Weave socks from the current issue of Vogue Knitting for my mom's birthday (which was last week LOL), and i'm totally feeling like they're going to take FOREVER. I'm halfway through the first pattern repeat, and I guess I haven't "figured out" the pattern yet, so I have to look at the chart for every single stitch.

I remember I felt the same way when I started my Pomatomous socks, I'm hoping that by the end of the second repeat I've worked out the pattern in my head and won't be so reliant on the chart..

(I think they'll be pretty though, and after my mom DROOLED over my Poms, I'm sure she'll love these!)
