Hi,
I don't know what I've done wrong as I followed the pattern to the letter and have made this jumper before, but somehow the sleeves look like they are 7 sizes too small and when I sewed them on to the jumper they look really weird.
What have I done wrong?

Wish I had your problem, Rose! I made a sweater for DH last year and the sleeves are three inches too long!
I also followed the directions exactly. Unfortunately, I figured out they were the wrong directions. You know on patterns where there are multiple sizes in parentheses? Well, for the sweater body I followed the third number in the parentheses. For the sleeves I followed the fifth number. So the sweater body was a medium, the sleeves extra large!
Guess I can't count......nor did I bother to measure because I "knew" I was right. [**]
Maybe you did something like this?

Hi Piehart,
Yes there is a very big suggestion I might have done something like that.
Being cocky that I've knitted it so many times, I could knit it in my sleep.
That's what happens, it turns around and bites you on the bum.
