I have to use the laudromat to felt my projects and would like to do a few at once, as it takes three cycles usually (the hat I just felted cost more to felt it than I spent on the yarn LOL). Can I do more than one item at a time, if they are different colors (red, black and gray)? I am assuming I would risk colors bleeding into eachother in the hot water, but was wondering if anyone has any experience doing this without incident.

I've felted multi-colored things before and have never had a problem with bleeding into each other. I think with felting separate items you do have a worry about the items felting together. You may wish to use one zippered pillowcase for each item to keep them separate from each other.

I was wondering this as well. I am going to try some of those felted bowls, and was thinking it might be better if I felt them together. But, I'll put them in separate pillow cases just in case...though I can only do 2 at a time because I only have 2 zippered pillow cases...
