Okay, I have knit so many of these and the pair I have been personally wearing for 2-3 years (which I put soles on) have finally eroded away. So, I knit up a new pair and the right one felt more than the left!! I worked with it, actually both of them, and then put the soles on............I don't like 'em.........they aren't my old pair!!! Am I going to have any success at all if I moisten them and attempt to stretch or mold them the way I want??? If it weren't winter I would wear them around the house while they were damp....but if it weren't winter I probably would not be missing and wanting them!!!!
I will probably just knit a new pair..............

My old felted slippers now have a distinct left and right - which they didn't have right after I made them. Just wear yours a while and they'll form to your feet. I know what you mean about missing the old ones though. I hate breaking in new shoes/slippers.
