Hi, I just completed one of those scarves that starts with a double crochet in the foundation chain, then two DC in each DC, then 3 DC in each DC. It's a lovely lambswool/kid mohair fiber in rich brown with the last row a novelty yarn in SC with a tiny glass bead added to every other stitch. It's a gift for my daughter and I love it, but there's one problem: it has grown.
I'm considering doing a tight row of SC's on the free side of the foundation chain since it's those stitches that have stretched. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions. Since this is a gift I'm more interested in getting it right than in experimenting!
