Morning all...
Anyone having trouble with the knitpicks site this morning? I tried to place an order last night, and it was acting a bit off, wouldn't let me log in and when it did, I couldn't check out...etc... this morning I can't get to the site at all.. I get an error page. Anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks- samantha

I couldn't get it to load at all (after seeing your message, I tried). I kept getting a screenful of text with error messages (not even the usual 404 page not found screen but weirder than that). Maybe they're adding new yarns! Carol |

I just tried at 9:oo O'clock and the server was down. I ordered a book two weeks ago online and has not come maybe they have found a problem with the online server.

Those are ASP.NET error messages. Definite server issues.

Could they be adding a lot of new things? Patternworks goes down sometimes and then there is a big surprise, usually an unexpected sale, when it returns.

I also tried the Knitpicks site this morning wanting to order a few things. I'm assuming they will not fix it until tomorrow due to the holiday.

Don't forget that as of yesterday, they are changing their free shipping to a minimum order of $40...and changing the shipping fees on orders less than $40. That could be the reason the site is down.

I think I read on their site a couple of days ago that they are closed until tomorrow for the holidays...so probably no one there knows they are having server issues...
Or could it be all the cursing I have been doing about their snowflakes and arrows vest pattern

And oddly enough, they are still offering free shipping on orders over $30. The email they sent out said they were raising the free shipping minimum to $40 on January 1.

well, I just called and the office is closed, but I wouldn't think that would effect online ordering...
