OMG, I just scrolled down and saw your roses. They are just lovely! Mine are suffering from TMJB Syndrome (Too Many Japanese Beetles). Sticks with thorns and the occasional leaf. Sigh.

Pieheart, did you try to spray your roses? I did not know that Japanese beetles attack roses: mine suffer from black spot, but I just let them survive it after many attempts of various remedies. Nothing really worked too well.
Thanks for your compliments!

| Your crocheting skills amaze me, too. The best part of it is that you wear the things you make very well. I have thought about crocheting a lacy top to wear over a black tank, but I think I have to lose a few pounds first. |

How pretty. I am deeply envious. Will forward this to DD as a prompt to spur her in her crochet, which she prefers.
thanks for sharing...

Thank you all for your kind comments! WendyB, maybe you are too hard on yourself: there are plenty of crochet patterns that will compliment your skills. I am almost done with my last (before at least three knitting projects) crocheted top - and summer is almost over!
