I post rather infrequently, but nothing shows up under my name where the number of posts are tallied. No big deal at all, just wondered what i might be doing wrong

I've just realized my posts aren't being counted either. Also, my username is my full email. It's not that I don't trust you guys, but I get so much spam as it is, I'd rather have just the first part (kwight). Can that be changed?
