I have recently joined a spinning guild, but I am the only man in the membership roster. Are there any guilds in the central NY area with male members. or are there other men in the area who would like to get together to spin?

How "central" are you? Finger Lakes Fiber Festival might be a good place to go and check.

MMario - I don't live in the 21st century - but I play a character who does.

Rhinebeck's not too far off (second weekend in October, I believe) and I bet there will be lots of information about area spinning guilds there!

I took fotos of a spinning guild that did the competition at rhinebeck last yr. The whole guild was male. Hudson Valley Rams. Give them a google and see if they pop up. If not look for them at Rhinebeck at the sheep to shawl exhibition.
