I have 2 hanks (240 yards total) of a gorgeous ivory colored mohair/wool/nylon blend by ironstone that I think would look wonderful in some kind of lacy pattern. I know it's not much yarn, and I think it may be too scratchy to wear as a scarf - any ideas about how I might use it?
What about a lacey hat? That's probably enough, and the mohair will make a nice warm cap...

Just an update on what I decided to do with the yarn. I used it to make my own version of "The Little Wrap", which is featured in Knitpicks most recent catalogue. The name of the book the original pattern is in has slipped my mind, I'm afraid. It's a ribbed tube with a short slit at the bottom, worn around the shoulders as a shrug-type wrap caplet thing. It took less than the 240 yards of mohair knitted on size 11 needles, and came out really pretty!
