I have nearly 500 yards of this nice handpainted sonoma yarn. It is in browns and blues very pretty. I have no idea what to do with it!!!!
It's a worsted weight actually it says it's abulky weight but i would say it's a heavy worsted. I get 4 stitches to an inch on size 10 needles.

Any ideas!!

I was thinking of felting it.. but It seems everything would be so utilitarian.
I dunno.

It may be enough for a shorter lacey poncho or a capelet knitted on size 13 or 15 needles, maybe in a feather and fan pattern to show off the color variegation in ripples.
