I have taken a basic crochet class, so I know basics, I just have not practiced too much. I am a knitter, but I really want to make the Malibu poncho from Rowan. There is a photo here:

Do you think this is a fairly easy project? I really like this stitch. What is the name of this stitch?

yes - that is a beginners pattern and should be quite simple and quick. I don't think ther is any formal name for the stitch , it's just a large basic mesh.

MMario - I don't live in the 21st century - but I play a character who does.
