I am tempted by the grab bags in the Patternworks year end sale. I have done a search and found several posts where people seem generally happy with their Patternworks grab bag.
I am just wondering, are grab bags worth it? What is a good place to order a grab bag? What came in your grab bag?
I'm just trying to decide if I should or should not order one.

I ordered one of the grab bags from Inspiration Yarns and it was wonderful. Exceeded my expectations. I received a couple of skeins of their superwash, some "regular", 3 skeins of a beautiful aqua and purple mohair, some unmarked yarn that I'll swatch and felt to see if it is superwash or not and the coup de grace, two skeins of the magical silk.

I ordered a Patternworks Fiesta Kokopeli grab bag and it was nice too.

One never knows.

I ordered two five-skein grab bags of Heilo in the sale, and I was happy with what I got. There were eight different colors in two different color families -- purples and browns. In one color, I got three skeins in two different dye lots. The rest were all singles.
