(insert happy cackle here)
Soooo... I have found the way to reverse the curse! This boy, who shall be known as E, and I dated seriously a few years ago. I was not a knitter then, but I liked baking him delicious cookies and cakes, just out of the sweet generosity of my spirit. If I had known how to knit, I'm certain I would have made him a sweater. He was cruel to me, and hurt me very deeply. Anyways, I ran into him today, and I happened to be wearing a sweater that I knitted over the holidays. He was so impressed by it, and asked if I could make something like it for him. I laughed in his face, and said, "Why would I knit you a sweater when you didn't even have the decency to appreciate my cookies!!!" It was sweet revenge, because he had such a look of regret on his pretty little face, that I wish I had a camera handy! hahahaha!

That is sweet revenge!!! I almost wish I could run into a couple of my exes... but yet not, all at the same time.
(You know a boy is a keeper when he actually brags to his family and friends about your knitting skills and about how you spontaneously make him cookies or his favorite dinner... I'm a lucky girl.. now if he would only knit *ME* stuff, I'd marry him on the spot!!!!)
