I'm the one who picks out a couple of likely skeins and then totes them around the LYS for an hour or so, then going back and comparing original selections to everything else. Sometimes one of the first items goes back, lots of times one tardy skein jumps into the basket at the last moment. You never know!

Yup. That's totally me. Only I go through about 4 different kinds and circle the store repeatedly. I pick up one, walk around a few times, put the original back, grab another, walk around a few more times... this repeats for well over an hour. I almost always go back to the first one I picked up.
