Barbara: I feel bad - just this last year I moved from one town to another, and had to be ruthless in weeding out old knitting mags, etc. I threw out (along with a lot of other stuff) all my old Kristin Nicholas newsletters! I would send them to you if I still had them. Wasn't that fun, getting those newsletters, looking at the new pattern, hearing about the sheep... I knitted several of those patterns, with her yarns, but the one I remember best was the little fisherman's sweater for toddlers. I knitted it in a kind of bronze-y gold that she had.
Nice to hear from a fellow Early-Days KN fan!

Tosca, there's a private message section where you can send a message to Barbara alone, rather than put a note out to the entire world. Up at the top right of your screen, you'll see the words "Private Messages" - click on that, and you can send a message to Barbara using her screen name. When she responds, you'll see a red notice in that same section, as well as above the forums in the "All Forums" mode that tells you there's a message waiting for you.
