Anyone in this part of Missouri? I am in the far northeast corner. We have very little in the way of yarn shops around here. I would love to get in touch with some of you who may be near.

Julie, Sorry close but not close enough. You might try putting up a notice at the library looking for other knitters.

I once lived in Hannibal, and I can't imagine there aren't knitters there, given how many crocheters I ran into where I worked. How far off are you, and do you have a small local newspaper you can plant a little news item in? (" Julie X, a local knitter, is starting a knitting group. Hi mochajulie; northeast MO is kinda vague. What city are you in?? I recently heard of a knitting group in Liberty.
